The picture is of a quilt I made around Christmas. I am working on 2 twin sized quilts for the Spruce cabin. When I finish them, I will post the actual picture.

So yesterday I sewed, made meals, went to church, picked up some groceries and a paper and then John and I mostly sat around the house all day. It was one of those days and since it was on a Sunday, that makes it more okay.

Of course we played with Orla. John took our little puppy on an hour walk with Dave. Dave did most of the work yesterday. He started on Alder and worked in there for over 4 hours. We bought two new windows and laminate wood flooring to be put in there.

The weather turned really cold around noon when the wind changed. The high maybe got to 38 degrees all day. Brrr.

Late at night after we watched my favorite movie, we heard the news that Osama Bin Laden had been finally found and killed. The operation went so smoothly that there were no casualties except him and his people. Congratulations to the U.S. military on a job well done.

I called my son, a Marine, about 11:00 p.m. and asked if he had heard the news. He did but I had woken him up. It is a great day for the United States.
