I took Orla to church with me but left her in the car with the windows open a little. It was only 45 degrees outside so she wouldn't be too hot. After church I took her down to the boat landing behind the church for her to have some fun. Then I went grocery shopping.

Later I organized some laundry, checked e-mails, did some computer work, visited with some friends and kids who came to visit, and that's about it. It was an easy day as it should be for a Sunday. I sewed for about 10 minutes and then a friend and her kids showed up to visit. I love it when they stop by - I just wish I had made some cookies for them. The kids got hungry after awhile and I didn't have anything they would like so I felt terrible. I'll be prepared next time. I guess I have to keep a supply of cookies in the cookie jar all the time now.

I heard that my sister and her husband are back up north from Florida. I was glad to hear that because they've been gone since late October.

The wind was incredibly cold today. The high was 48 degrees, but the wind was about 20 mph over the lake. So it was frigid. So I didn't do much else than take the dog for a walk outside today. Hopefully it will get warmer.

The hummingbirds are back so I put out their feeder. Within a half hour they were fighting over it. Spring is here.
