The picture on the right is of Orla after she was playing in a mud puddle. She was having so much fun that I didn't stop her. I had a lot of laughs watching her too.

We had some girls arrive to help with the spring cleaning at 10 a.m. We had a good crew and it was nice to have all that help for sure. They started on Alder and then went into Hemlock. The picture on the left is of Alder after it was all cleaned. We are thrilled about how the flooring and windows turned out. I am sure customers will be too.

John had some difficulty getting the Hemlock pipes hooked up because of a small leak but eventually everything went fine. When I started the heater in the morning, to warm it up for the cleaning crew, that started fine too. After the fiasco yesterday with the water shooting out the back of Birch, we were happy everything went well.

John left to go to a memorial of a friend's son. John's friend, Jeff Bignell, had a son who died in Afghanistan. So there was a memorial for him in Adams Friendship at 7 p.m. on Saturday. John left around 2 p.m. and he called later to tell me he made it okay.

I took Orla for a walk, did 2 loads of cleaning laundry, made up all the bags for the Hemlock cabin for the girls, took out rugs to air them out, cleaned up the house and did some computer work. I answered some telephone calls about openings and answered some e-mails. I also did some confirmations from deposits we received. Before I realized it the day was over.

Orla and I played for a while that evening and we were tired before 9:30 p.m. There was nothing good on TV so I went to bed after the news. It was a good day.
