We went to my nephew's confirmation party in the morning. The customers left just before us so I was supposed to turn off the hot water and refrigerator but I forgot. So we were on the road when I remembered. Oh well, we'll get it when we get home.

After the family get together, we went to Menards. I had picked out some tiles for the repairs in Ironwood cabin but I didn't get enough. So we headed back. We found some really nice ones at Home Depot (stopped there first) that look like actual rock, which will match the border on the wall of the shower. So we picked those. They were a little expensive, but will look really nice, hopefully.

Then I picked out some cleaning supplies including a telescoping window washer/squeegie. We needed something like that to wash the windows that needed a ladder to get to.

Then we got back home and did some laundry, checked telephone messages, e-mails etc. and then that was it for the day. The drive to Menards takes us over an hour one way, and then the time for shopping, and the drive back, took up our entire afternoon. It felt like a really long day but wasn't too bad.

The rain and tornado warnings were nothing for us up here as there was barely any wind. The leaves are all out and open and grass needs mowing now. Its early this year. It rained a lot during the night too so we will have to wait for it all to dry out before we mow. But it sure is pretty with all the trees blooming. We have a lot of cherry trees here and the blooms are just gorgeous.

I saw 3 eagles flying and squeaking to each other in flight today. That's always amazing to see. It was a good day.
