Not much happened today with me. I went to my son's court proceeding in Forest County. Then on my way back home I stopped to see my mom. I visited for about a half hour and then left to go and have my yearly mammogram. This was not fun.
When I drove to the clinic, there were a lot of trees down from the intense wind. We were having gusts up to 50 miles per hour. Supposedly it was such a low barometric pressure, that it was the equivalent to a class 2 hurricane.
Finally when I made it home there were a lot of trees and branches down around the resort. I parked my new, used, car by our deck, which is not close to any trees.
John told me that Dave, our caretaker, helped him take out the pier today. We had worked on it the day before but hadn't finished it when John had some trouble removing a pipe. He and Dave finished it and now that one is out. Just a couple more to go, which Dave will help with too.
John did some paperwork and answered some e-mails. I was so stressed from my day that I took an hour nap and then became a couch potato for the rest of the night. I was so sad and/or stressed by the day's events that I couldn't do much of anything. I hate it when my son is in legal trouble, which I won't get into. This isn't his first time in legal trouble and I am entirely sick of it. Then I had to go and have my mammo. Not a fun day at all.
